TAFAL competition

The Year 8 TAFAL (Teach A Friend A Language) competition took place on Wednesday 11th June. 12 pairs took part in a very tight competition. All the girls worked very hard on learning their friend's home language. The judges were very impressed by the high standard. The most represented language was Urdu, we also had girls speaking Spanish, Tamil, Gujerati, Lingala and Twi. The pair speaking in Lingala, Whitney and Sarah, finished second and will go to the final in Woodbridge High School on Friday 4th July. With them will go Maryam and Zaynab who had put together a very amusing performance. Well done to all the girls! Good luck to the finalists.
